The BTK5 Chicago will take place on April 23, 2017, and begin at Soldier Field Stadium Green. Prior to the BTK5 event, participants register either as individuals or as members of a team and proceed to raise funds from donors.
Participants track their fundraising on the BTK5 website, where they can personalize their fundraising page by adding pictures and videos and sharing their reason for participating in the event. They can use the email templates provided by the American Brain Tumor Association to develop a compelling fundraising campaign.
The BTK5 takes participants on a 3.1-mile walk or run through Chicago. By participating in the BTK5 event, racers contribute to vital research and support services for the more than 700,000 individuals with brain tumors in the United States.
